Sun Lakes!

At the end of July we took our second annual trip to Sun Lakes with my brothers, the Ochoa's, the Rowley's, the Boyer's and the soon-to-be Ludemann's. Sun Lakes is on the East side of the mountains and it is HOT. It is perfect boating and swimming weather and a fun place to hang out. We also went for a hike one morning, up Steamboat Rock. It was an awesome view...we just had to make sure we got done early because it got hot!

When we got to Sun Lakes, we had not told anyone that we were having a baby...but we had ultrasound pictures and we were itching to share the news. Part of us wanted to wait until we were further along in case there were troubles with the baby, but since we had seen the baby and heard the heartbeat, we felt really good about it and decided to tell everyone on the last night. It was really fun to share the excitement with our family and friends and to finally be able to talk about it! I also called me parents because I could not wait for them to find out!
