Beautiful Bend

After Cannon Beach, Brian & I headed over to Bend, OR with our friends, JP & Sara to check out the area and enjoy some more sunshine. JP's brother and sister-in-law were kind enough to let us crash at their house while they were away - what a blessing!  It was great to have the comforts of home, without the cost!  While we were in Bend, we went mountain biking, floated the river, ate some more good food, went to a great church, watched a bike race in downtown Bend and enjoyed great company.  It was a short trip, but SO much fun!!  Also, as luck would have it, Marc & Anna decided to head to Bend for a night as well, so we got to spend the day and evening with them...it was a treat!

We barely fit four bikes on the back - but we did it (thanks to the boys)! Well worth it...awesome mountain bike riding in Bend!
