East of the Mountains!

This weekend the forecast finally showed SUN for both days! We were so excited to be able to enjoy the sunshine and play outside all day. I had to work for a few hours in the morning, so as soon as I got home we packed up the car and headed east. We did not have a plan...we just knew we wanted sunshine!

The road led us to Wenatchee where we found a nice restaurant on the river and enjoyed some great food. Then we ventured out on a walk down the Columbia River in the Wenatchee city park. After that we ventured back over to Leavenworth for some ice cream and candy and then roamed the streets and waterways there. It was so nice to enjoy the sunshine and each others company.

Summer is finally here (fingers crossed)!! Can't wait for many outdoor adventures!
