Wow...can you believe it is already October? Time sure does fly.
Here are some fun facts for the month of October:
The opal and the troumaline are the birthstones for October and the calendula is the flower.
The 13th of October is going to be busy this year. It is the second Monday of the month, so thus Columbus Day is celebrated (Columbus landed in America on October 12, 1492) in the United States and Thanksgiving Day is celebrated in Canada.
The 13th is also the birthday of my husband's dad, Mike, my Aunt June and my good friend, Abbey.
My wonderful husband, Brian, was born on October 29th.
