In answer to that question you never knew you wondered about - yes, a fetus in the womb can get hiccups.

Blows my mind... And yet so Juno-esque. So when a fetus hiccups, is the mother low on oxygen too (or whatever the cause is) - does she hiccup? The answer only creates more questions... My drive home has substance now.
