There is a song on the radio called "Life Less Ordinary" by Carbon Leaf. The main lyrics of the song are "live a life less ordinary, live a life extraordinary with me." This song is more than likely a song about a boy trying to woo a girl into loving him, however whenever I hear it I can't help but think that I want to live a life less ordinary with God.
Life can seem so bland and monotonous when you do not realize the big picture and what God can do in your life if you just let him. There are so many opportunities in the world to serve others and in turn be blessed by the experience.
One of my goals for 2008 is to live a life less ordinary and one that is far more extraordinary.
